Officials from the District Rural Development Department inspected the completion of drinking water projects in Taikkyi Township, Yangon Region, funded by the Union Grant and Regional Government Grant for the 2025–2026 fiscal year.

The inspection team, led by District Officer U Hla Myo Aung and Township Officer U Soe Kyaw Thu, visited Nandaw Kone and Pyin Makone villages, where 4.5-inch wide and 300-foot deep tube wells were constructed. They also inspected a 2,000-gallon brick water tank, a water plant, and a 2,000-foot pipeline built in Yan Lone Naing Village under the Union grant.

During the visit, the district chief instructed the construction teams to ensure quality standards and timely completion of the projects to provide clean water to rural residents.— Wat Yee (IPRD)
