THE 3rd Myanmar International Textile & Machinery Fair will be held for three days in December, according to the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA).

 

The fair will be held from 9 am to 5 pm on 5-7 December at the Yangon Convention Centre (YCC), Inya Lake Compound, No 37, Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Yangon. The fair aims to promote long-term economic relations and potential cooperation between China and Myanmar in the textile and garment industry, as well as between Myanmar and ASEAN countries, and to develop Myanmar’s garment sector.

 

The MGMA has announced that the exhibition will showcase the necessary products and related materials for the garment sector in one place. It will include textile products and machinery from China and Myanmar, local MSMEs and Made in Myanmar products, sewing motors, textile accessories and raw materials, clothing tags, pricing tags, printing and trim accessories, and printing and machinery for producing designs and patterns.

 

Furthermore, the fair will include panel discussions on the development of the garment sector, traditional Myanmar costume exhibitions, traditional costume exhibitions from China and ASEAN countries, CMP and local brand fashion shows, exhibitors’ business matching sessions, and seminars related to the sector.

 

It has announced that exhibitors wishing to promote their products, including garment businesses, factories, domestic brand-owners, manufacturers, machinery importers, those interested in promoting small and medium-sized enterprises, and those interested in B2C and B2B cooperation, can connect through product showcases and business matching.
