Kanbalu Township in Sagaing Region plans to cultivate 201,149 acres of oilseed crops during the 2025–2026 winter season, according to the Township Department of Agriculture.
The cultivation will include 95,268 acres of groundnut, 96,716 acres of sesame, 563 acres of mustard, 3,044 acres of niger seed, and 5,558 acres of sunflower.
