Taunggyi 1 November
With the aim of delivering agricultural products to the markets without wasting time and money, Taunggyi Township Department of Rural Development is implementing rural roads and bridges in Suebotegwe village in the township. On 1 November, officials from the township department made a field trip to observe the construction works in the village.
The officials and responsilbe engineers inspected the construction of the rural road measuring two miles and seven furlongs in length, 12 ft in width and nine inches in volume and two concrete bridges on the road, two slab culverts and two pipe culverts. They then aksed the responsible people from the tender winning companies
for the timely completion, meeting the set standard.
The project is being conducted with K 331.004 million of funds of Union Budget starting from second week of July. Now, 42 percent of the project has been completed. Upon completion, the agricultural products will be delivered to the markets with saving time and money.
