THE Yangon Region Investment Committee (YRIC) endorsed four foreign enterprises in the manufacturing sector, with an estimated capital of US$5.196 million, at the meeting held on 29 October.
Those enterprises will execute manufacturing of various kinds of clothing and garments on a Cutting, Making and Packaging basis. They are to create over 3,695 jobs for locals.
“YRIC granted wholly foreign businesses to operate manufacturing of wearing apparel and garments on a CMP basis at the committee meeting 10/2025 in late October,” said an official of the YRIC.
The committee members inspected general issues of ten companies, including capital expansion matters. The regional investment committee has been endorsing investment projects in accordance with rules and regulations under the Myanmar Investment Law to spur investments and create more job opportunities. — ASH/KK
