A cargo plane has crashed near an international airport in Louisville in the southern US state of Kentucky. Local authorities report that there are injuries.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the aircraft, which was bound for Hawaii, went down at around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday after it departed from the airport.
The plane's operator says three crewmembers were aboard the aircraft.
Footage shows black smoke and flames rising into the sky and many fire engines near the crash site.
Local firefighters are trying to extinguish the blaze, and officials have issued a shelter-in-place order for residents near the airport.
