ACCORDING to Mr San Khun, CEO of the Chinese Textile & Garment Association in Myan­mar (CTGA), five Chinese textile firms — Semir, Balabala, Jean­swest, Bosideng, and Baleno — have invested in Myanmar following the successful organ­ization of the Myanmar Textile and Machinery Trade Fair 2023 and the Myanmar Textile and Machinery Trade Fair 2024.

 

The third Myanmar Textile and Machinery Trade Fair 2025 will be held for three days from 5 to 7 December at the Yangon Convention Centre (YCC) within the Inya Lake Hotel compound. Around 100 Chinese and Myan­mar garment manufacturers will participate in the exhibition to be jointly organized by the Myanmar Garment Manufactur­ers Association (MGMA) and the Chinese Textile & Garment As­sociation in Myanmar (CTGA), with the support of the Depart­ment of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, China.

 

About 10 Chinese firms and over 100 exhibitors specializing in textiles, garments, related accessories, and garment ma­chinery will showcase their products at the fair. In addition, Made-in-Myanmar products from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be fea­tured to promote the local mar­ket. — ASH/MKKS
