A new special postage stamp featuring six traditional Myanmar musical instruments will be sold on 20 November starting from 9:30 am, according to the Myanma Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The new K200 block of stamps is a collection of six traditional Myanmar musical instruments that were published before, so stamp collectors can now collect the stamps together.
The new stamps will be sold at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, the Yangon Post Office and the Mandalay Post Office, as well as regional and state post offices at the same time. As a special programme, the date logo will be printed on stamps bought on the first day at the three major post offices.
To buy stamps, collectors can make calls to Daw Khin Nyo Nyo Myint, in charge of the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, at 09 448000096, U Aung Soe, in charge of the Yangon Post Office, at 09 424000458, and U Tin Maung Myint, in charge of the Mandalay Post Office, at 09 424000515. — MT/ZS
