A Myanmar delegation led by Dr Aung Zeya, Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Skills Pro­motion Committee and Deputy Minister for Science and Tech­nology, paid a visit to Nanning in China on 6 December.

 

On arrival at the China-ASE­AN Health centre on that morn­ing, the relevant officials briefed on the history of the over 90-year-old hospital, quality, establish­ment of the centre in 2025, One Stop Healthcare programmes, online healthcare system using AI-powered medics via video conferencing in different lan­guages and traditional medi­cines.

 

The Deputy minister and party proceeded to Shinju ward, and the CPC Secretary Qin Yuning and officials clarified the work operations and public services.

 

In the evening, they visited China–ASEAN AI Innovation Centre, and the officials ex­plained establishment of Chi­na-ASEAN AI cooperation plat­form for use in ASEAN countries in Guangxi through research conducted in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, AI-related chip production, the application of AI technology to enhance culture, economy, education, healthcare, tourism, and public services in ASEAN countries, uses of re­searches conducted in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in Guangxi, AI-related technolo­gies and other cooperation work with 38 local and foreign organ­izations.

 

They proceeded to the Chi­na-ASEAN Information Harbour, and officials clarified the differ­ent booths regarding digital plat­forms with ASEAN countries ac­cording to the Digital Silk Road project. — MNA/KTZH
