MYANMAR national football team captain Maung Maung Lwin, who is currently playing in the Thai League, has returned to Myanmar National League club Yangon United on a loan deal.

 

Maung Maung Lwin is a player of Thai League 1 club Lamphun Warriors and has re­joined Yangon United on a five-month loan. He emerged from Myanmar’s U19 national team, which competed in the U20 World Cup, and began his professional career with Hanthawady Unit­ed. He later played for Yangon United from the 2018 season to the 2020 season before moving to Thai club Lamphun Warriors in 2021, where he has been playing for an extended period.

 

Yangon United are making necessary reinforcements this season in their bid to reclaim the Myanmar National League championship, and the loan signing of Maung Maung Lwin is their first acquisition for the second half of the season.
