UNION Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr Kan Zaw received Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Mr Sholban Kara-Ool, accompanied by Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Iskander Azizov, at the Internal Revenue Department, Office 46 in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
They cordially discussed bilateral cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, payment systems for finance, investment and trade between the two countries, the projects of mutual interest, and further mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister Daw Than Than Lin and departmental heads from the Ministry of Finance and Revenue. — MoFR
