No casualties were reported after a car caught fire in Pyigyidagun Township, Mandalay on August 17, the Ministry of Home Affairs said.
    

A car carrying five gas cylinders caught fire in Ngwetaw Gyigon Ward in Pyigydagun Township at about 3:40 p.m. on August 17. The fire was attributed to have been caused by an electric wire shock. Firefighters from a nearby fire service station rushed to the scene of fire and put out the flame with the use of two fire engines in about 10 minutes.
    

The vehicle was badly damaged in the incident and the car owner is being taken action over fire negligence by the police.
