Bawlakhe, 4 September

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprising personnel from the township Forest Department and Police members led by police inspector Aung Min Kyi searched  a car driven by U Hla Phyu on Bawlakhe – Dawtama Road in Kayapaing Ward in Bawlakhe this early morning and seized illegal sawn teak weighing a half ton.

Action is being taken against those who got involved in the illegal business under the forest law, according to the Township Forest Department.
