The level of water in the Ayeyawady River, which crossed the danger mark on 21 July in Mandalay, is expected to recede over the next few days, according to the upper Myanmar weather bureau.

MAI launches Yangon-Hangzhou direct flights

Myanmar Airway International (MAI) has launched direct flights between Yangon and Hangzhou as part of the expansion of its flight network. This is the second direct flight that MAI has introduced from Myanmar to China. Previously, there was only a direct flight to Guangzhou.
